Sport at King's Ely School in the UK
King's Ely is passionate about sport and firmly believes that all students should enjoy a wide a range of sporting experiences, whilst at the same time making the most of opportunities to excel. The school provides an outstanding programme of specialist coaching for their elite sports students. King's Ely school also supports students in sports they pursue outside school, with many going on to represent their counties, regions, and, in some cases, their country. King's Ely even has their own Olympian and a Great Britain Gold Medallist Rower.
In addition to Rowing, the major sports played are:
During the Michaelmas Term for the boys: Rugby Union and for the girls: Hockey
During the Lent Term for the boys: Association Football and for the girls: Netball
In the Summer Term for the boys: Cricket and for the girls: Cricket and Tennis
The school's first-class facilities include a full sized Astroturf complex with floodlights, a Sports Hall, a heated swimming pool, cricket nets, seven tennis courts and over 50 acres of well-maintained grass pitches, not to mention one of the best stretches of river for rowing in the UK.

The English Language Summer School is BACK in 2022 between July 3rd and August 6th and we look forward to seeing you in July 2022. Minimum stay is 2 weeks. Sunday arrivals and departures only. (apart from final Saturday!). We give the students the brightest, busiest and best holiday of their lives.
Students on the Summer Course always say how much they enjoy their classes and how much they learn during their stay. The learning process does not end in the classroom. All four language skills are consistently exploited throughout the day.
£ 1,850 per week 2024 There are NO extras. Fees include free board, accommodation, tuition and ALL sports, excursions and activities. -
